The Sussex Reptile Rescue Centre, based in Bognor Regis, is an independent registered charity dedicated to giving sick, injured, and unwanted reptiles and amphibians a second chance at life. We also work to educate the public about the care and welfare of these often-misunderstood creatures across Sussex and the surrounding areas.

Since opening our doors for rescues in September 2024, we’ve already seen just how great the need is. From abandoned tortoises to neglected snakes and lizards in desperate condition — each animal deserves expert care, warmth, and compassion.

Now, we need your help to take the next step.

We’re fundraising to secure a new commercial premises that will allow us to:

•Rescue and care for more animals in need

•Provide proper enclosures and specialist facilities

•Create space for volunteers to help with daily care and operations

•Expand our education and outreach work to promote responsible reptile ownership
