Sleep Out 2024 · 8 November 2024 ·

Our selected anchor charity for 2024/25 is Baton of Hope, a charity with a mission to prevent suicide, an issue all too prevalent in the construction industry. Several small charities will also be supported which are having a directly positive impact to the communitities in which Glencar operates.

Story

The aim of the St Albans Sleepout is to raise awareness of homelessness in Hertfordshire, to come together as a community for the community.

The Glencar team are proud to support the sleepout again this year and members of our team will be Sleeping Out on Friday 8th November. Every penny raised in sponsorship will go directly to Herts Young Homeless (hyh) and The Glencar Foundation.

Started by the Abbey and Diocese in the 1990s, Herts Young Homeless sleepout has raised hundreds of thousands for Hertfordshire homeless charities, and this year is no exception.

Glencar are hoping to make the sleepout on Friday 8th November 2024 a huge success and make a real difference to vulnerable people across Hertfordshire this winter.
