St. Matthew's is still a thriving primary school. But in 2023, St Matthew’s, like so many schools across the country, was plunged into a budgetary crisis, mainly due to rising staff costs and energy prices.

We are fundraising to avoid cuts to a range of essential facilities and services - some of which you may remember as a former pupil. These include things like a school councillor, and a music programme for all pupils.
