South Shields FC Foundation is the charitable arm of South Shields FC. We improve the health and wellbeing of local people by delivering an activity programme for people of all ages and abilities. We achieve £7 of social impact for every £1 we spend, that's £3million in social impact since 2017.

Story

South Shields FC Foundation is the Club's charitable arm.

Founded in 2017 with just 30 junior players the Foundation is now a registered charity working with more than 2000 people each week. We deliver programmes and activities that support mental health and wellbeing for people of all ages. Things like:

* Opportunities to participate in physical activities

* Activities that support learning new things or new skills

* Opportunites to meet new people and make new friends

* Campaigns that provide people with impartial information about important issues happening around them

* Opportunities to volunteer and do something for others.

We deliver around £2million of social impact into our community each year which represents a return on investment of £8 for every £1 we spend.

We are a social enterprise which means we have no shareholders. All profits are reinvested in our charitable purpose of supporting mental health and wellbeing.

This campaign seeks to enagge as many of of young players in a phyiclal activity that will generate funds to give back to others (two of our key activities). They will walk from the Stadium of Light to South Shields FC stadium, 1st Cloud Arena.

If you are able to please support them. Thank you
