At the YMCA of Greater Seattle, we make a positive impact on the lives of ~ 230,000 individuals from all walks of life across King, Pierce, Lewis, San Juan, and South Snohomish counties every year. This year, we remain committed to having an even greater impact across our community and living our values and our mission: to build a community where all people, especially the young, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind, and body. 

The most critical enabler of our mission and impact is our dedicated staff who deserve to be recognized and celebrated for their commitment to service to our community. This year, we are excited to announce our second annual YMCA Staff Appreciation Day at the Mariners on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle where we will come together to celebrate, honor, and recognize the invaluable contributions of our dedicated staff members and their families. 

With a team of over 2,500 dedicated individuals, our staff plays a pivotal role in delivering life-changing services to the community every day. From YMCA membership, mental health support and transitional housing and wrap-around services for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness to early education, after-school and camp programs, hunger initiatives, foster care services and many whole-person health initiatives, our staff deliver for community. Their impact is invaluable, especially for youth and families who need us most.
