A change for this year

Starlight Hike is our annual community fundraising event, bringing people together to walk in celebration of loved ones.

But, after two years of cancellations for Starlight Hike Peterborough due to severe weather, we're now searching for a new venue for 2027.

Starlight Hike Your Way means that no one misses out on getting together with friends, family and colleagues to remember and celebrate loved ones, while raising much needed funds.

Create your own personal walk

This year, you can create your own personal walk to remember someone special, in a way that feels right for you.

Complete your 10k on any day throughout October and make it a moment that truly honours the people who matter to you. Walk with family and friends, share stories and carry loved ones with you in every step.

Choose a time, a place and a route that holds meaning - a favourite park, a familiar path, or somewhere special you shared with someone you miss. Walk in their memory and raise vital funds for Sue Ryder.

It’s free to register and we’ll send you a walker pack to help you get started. We’ll support you every step of the way.

Raise £60 and you’ll receive a Starlight Hike t-shirt to wear on your walk and a medal, as a thank you for your amazing effort.
