Story

Starlight Stroll is taking place on Saturday 10th September and we would love for you to join us. After two years of socially distanced Starlight Strolls, we are so excited to bring you this event in its full form, and we hope that you wish to join us to celebrate!

Starlight Stroll is one of our biggest events and a firm favourite in our calendar every year. Starting from Treasure Island, you'll walk along the promenade, beside the sea, to the halfway point at the Italian Gardens. By this point, the stars will be out and you may be able to see the moon rising over the sea. Here, you can lay a special lantern in the garden to remember a loved one who is no longer with us. You will then walk back to The Beach Deck, where you can collect your Starlight Stroll medal and have a celebratory drink and bite to eat.

Events like this one help St Wilfrid's Hospice to keep providing our vital care to the local community. The hospice costs over £17,000 a day to run, and with your help we can continue to support patients, their families, friends and carers.

If you are taking part in Starlight Stroll, you can set up your own fundraising page by clicking the orange Start Fundraising button on the right, then you can share your page with your family, friends and colleagues.
