But for many young people, especially those from underserved communities, the opportunity to learn these life-changing skills is out of reach.

At The Sail Up Foundation, we believe that no child should be denied the chance to discover their potential through sailing. Too often, state-funded schools sit just miles from sailing centres, yet lack the resources or support to build meaningful connections. These same schools frequently list teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving as core values—but without access to sailing, students miss out on one of the best ways to truly develop them.

That’s where we come in.

Our mission is to remove the barriers that prevent young people from accessing this incredible sport. We partner with local sailing clubs and schools to create sustainable, inclusive sailing programmes.
