You may not be able to go out to a gig, so we're bringing the gig to you!
Hear Tom Speight play tunes from his debut album Collide, and a teaser of new songs from his upcoming album as well as your own favourite records. Tom is offering to play your favourite music to put a smile on your face whilst staying at home.
Tom Speight is a singer/ songwriter, diagnosed with Crohns Disease over 10 years ago when he was 19 years old and at university. Tom first started experiencing weight loss, diarrhoea, fatigue and loss of appetite, but by 2014 things appeared to be under control. At this point his music career really took off with him playing as a support act for the likes of Ed Sheeran, Travis and Mumford & Sons. But within days of signing his first publishing contract, he suffered a perforation and needed emergency surgery. Toms recovery took two years and although he has had severe flare-ups since, hes gone on to play 100 gigs in 22 countries.
Tom says, "I don't drink, don't smoke its the least rock-and-roll lifestyle ever. I love what I do and I won't let Crohn's stop me ever making music or pursing my dreams. I'm very proud to be raising awareness and money for Crohns & Colitis UK."
If you're able to donate the price of a gig ticket to listen to Tom, this will hugely help our current funding crisis and help us to be there for everyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis.
Staying connected matters, so lets come together to sing, dance and listen to the music.
