Visit the charity's profileThe COVID-19 outbreak has made life incredibly tough for many people and brought particular challenges to young people in the UK, with an additional 600,000 18-24-year-olds at risk of being unemployed this year. Young people from low income households will be hardest hit, with less opportunities than ever before to get into jobs they want and careers they deserve, to pull them out of poverty.
From September to December 2020 we challenge you to run, jog, walk, roll or stroll and take the steps to support the success of young people by covering the distance past all the EY UK&I regions. This is an impressive 1,772 miles or 3,544,000 steps!
Meet Mark - Mark needed guidance and advice to find a job so he came to the EY Foundation. The Our Future Proramme provided him with two weeks' paid work experience with construction company Morgan Sindall.
If I hadn't joined the programme I'd probably be lying in my bed, playing a game and watching telly, not really bothering about my life.
