Stray2Me is a small UK registered charity comprised of a team of animal lovers, all of whom have adopted or fostered rescue animals. Over the past few years, we became more and more accustomed to the hardships Romanian rescues face throughout their lives. Romania has a huge stray animal population, brought about by poor animal welfare laws, ignorance and corrupt practice.

We'd like to try and make a difference by raising £2000 which will go towards a spay campaign and emergency veterinary treatment - but we can't do this without you!

Do you like to walk, jog, run, cycle, skate?

Come join our team in an effort to collectively cover the distance between London and Constanta in a month (1300 miles) and help us get to our target of £2000.

The challenge will start on the 20th of May and will end on the 20th of June 2021. Here's how you can get involved in 4 easy steps:

1. Pledge a distance that you would like to cover in a month 

e.g. if you walk your dog for an hour a day, and that's usually 4 miles, you can pledge 4 miles x 30 days = 120 miles per that month

2. Think about how much you would like to help us raise through your efforts 

We won't ask for a minimum donation or ask you to pledge to raise a certain amount, so you can set a target that you're comfortable with.

3. Join our Just Giving team, create a fundraiser and invite your family and friends to support you and donate;

4.  Keep your supporters informed by sharing regular screenshots of your progress as you inch closer to completing your pledged miles;

You can use anything to track miles, from a phone to a fitbit/smartwatch - just snap a photo and upload to your fundraiser.
