Story

On Wednesday 5th October, the St Georges Day Charity Club committee and friends will be taking on the challenge of 24,000 yards of golf covering 72 holes in one day at Hartsbourne Country Club.

The St George's Day Charity Club is a small charity established in 2001. The charity is run by volunteer trustees who donate their time to organise a number of charitable activities each year. All proceeds from the events are donated to charities, predominantly in the local area. Last year we are extremely proud to say we were able to donate £8,750 to charities including Electric Umbrella, Watford New Hope Trust, Drum, YMCA Watford and Young Lives Versus Cancer.

The donations make a huge difference to the charities and are so important to enable them to continue to operate, particularly in the current challenging times.

Your support means an incredible amount to us.

Thank you so much, from all at St Georges
