We are a small, faith-based community set in a Victorian Anglican Church in rural Oxfordshire raising funds to replace the roof. We provided a sacred place for Christian worship, celebrations & memorials along with a close association to 2 local schools.

Story

Help us repair St Helen's! We are raising funds to replace the roof.

St Helen's is a much-loved church in Dry Sandford, Oxfordshire, and the focal point for a wider community. For more than 160 years, generations of school children at two local schools have attended services beneath its stone arch. Its walls have witnessed hundreds of weddings, baptisms and funerals, as well as countless Sunday devotions.

Community events - such as Remembrance Day, Harvest Festival, Plant Sales, Annual BBQ - have helped foster feelings of charity, fellowship and cohesion.

We've successfully managed after 5 years to repair the structural damage ot the walls and now face the challenge to replace the roof.

Please help this campaign to repair this fine building and, in doing so, support our vision to provide a special place for generations to come. Every penny you donate goes toward the restoration project.
