Like so many churches, St John's is dependent on fundraising to ensure that it can meet its ongoing costs. A sponsored walk in support of St. Johns Church is taking place on Saturday 16th September. The walk is entitled Churches of Risborough and will set off from St Mary's Church at 10:30am. The plan this year is for the route to take us round the churches in Princes Risborough - this will include St. Mary's, Horsenden, St. Dunstan's, St. Teresa's, as well as the Baptist and Methodist churches. The order that we do them in is in the process of being finalised, but the overall distance will be approximately 4 miles.

The event is also a social one, so that non-walking participants can still feel involved by awaiting the return of the wanderers, whilst purchasing tea and cake that will be available.
