Story
Our church roof is doing its best to fall in on itself……
Without some immediate loving care and attention, we may soon be asking our visitors to hold buckets and umbrellas to catch the rain and weather….
Despite our continued attention, the roof on our beautiful 12th Century church is falling into disrepair. The roof tiles need to be replaced and the associated damage to the joists repaired whilst the guttering needs to be refurbished in order to make the building watertight and prevent any further damage to the internal plaster work and decoration.
As a much valued part of Sherfield on Loddon Parish, we need to carry out these essential repairs so that St Leonard's Church can remain a valued and integral part of the community).
