We have stunning grounds at St. Martin’s but these could be used even more at play time. Opal Play has a proven track record of enhancing playtimes and further developing school’s use of their grounds for play.

Huge thanks to the parents who have offered practical skills such as carpentry and DIY to help us to set up the grounds, if we were to proceed with this project later this year. However, the school budget is exceptionally tight and we simply will not be able to pay for this project without financial support from parents. As a result, we have launched a Just Giving page with a totaliser of £5,000.

If we are able to raise the funds to launch Opal Play, then we will proceed with this project later this year. However, no funds will go to waste as, should we not hit the £5,000 target, all money donated will still be used to buy other play equipment to enhance break and lunchtimes at St Martin’s.

Either way, it’s a win-win for the children at St Martin’s, so please donate generously and let’s make playtimes even better for all!
