UPDATE 2: WOW! Just under one week to go and we have reached our extended target - how high can we go?? Let’s do this St Mary’s!

Pupils have been asked to return hard copy sponsorship forms to school on Monday 5th Feb but this page will remain open all week - thank you so much for your support!

UPDATE 1: We’ve been blown away by the support so far - thank you! We are on track to smash our initial £5k target for this event so we have increased it to £7k. The total estimated cost for Phase 2 of our Playground Project is £100k - we raised £50k of this last term and are so excited to see sponsorship from this event taking us a big step closer to our goal!

OUR STORY

We want to continue the transformation of our school playground by completing Phase 2 of our Playground Project this summer - including installing an eco-classroom and an amazing outdoor learning space which will benefit all pupils at St Mary's.

Please help us to make this a reality by sponsoring us as we take on the challenge of sprint cycling as a team from Base Camp to the top of Mount Everest and back - in a single day, on static bikes in our school hall.

We have teamed up with Rollapaluza to run this event, with pupils sprinting in pairs on custom built roller rigs throughout the day. We will also be inviting teachers and parents to join in and race with us!
