Organised by St Mary's Church OldswinfordFollowing recent vandalism to the church windows on the south side of the church we are having to raise a minimum of £1000 to cover the excess on our insurance claim. The complete cost of works will likely amount to over £4000.

Visit the charity's profileDuring the week of 19th January we were targeted twice by vandals who threw stones at the windows of the church on the south side of the building. They caused considerable damage to the leaded windows, parts of which contained decorative coloured glass. To repair this damage will need a specialist contractor who is going to have to remove the whole window to carry out the repairs. The insurance on the building will cover part of the cost but we still have to find £1000 to cover the excess on our policy. We would be very grateful for any help with this so that we can repair the windows back to how they should be and maintain the good order of the building for all to enjoy.
