Story
Last year, Jon was asked by his mate Martin to front a BBC Radio 4 campaign for MDUK but now he has taken it too far, Martin says, "Jon has been brilliant but I want more help for the charity, I have threatened to put his face on a giant hologram in central London unless he can help me raise £50,000 for MDUK. Jon isn't happy about it, but I have given him until the end of August to do this but I need your help".
Martin continues, "If he can't help raise the £50k for me then I am going to go even bigger with this campaign, blast his miserable face around London and might even get him to do some physical challenges for us too".
At 23, Martin was diagnosed with limb girdle muscular dystrophy. He's just one of 70,000 adults and children in the UK who live with a form of this condition, which weakens the muscles in the limbs, heart and lungs. Imagine getting weaker every day, finding it difficult to walk, to stand, to laugh, to cough, to breathe. Until one day, it stops your heart. Too many children die way too young. There's no cure.
That is why we need your help. Get Jon's face off of the billboards and stop Martin from making him into a giant hologram by helping us to fund more pioneering research. Thank you.
