St Philip's Garden Project

We are raising money to transform the outward appearance of our church and create a more accessible and inclusive space for our community.

We are Dronfield Team Ministry: the Anglican network and worshipping community in Dronfield, Holmesfield and Unstone.

Story

Serving the community

St. Philip's Church has been at the heart of the Holmesdale estate in Dronfield since it was built in the 1960s, as a community hub and as a church. With so few community spaces on the estate, we want to maximise access for the residents of Dronfield to the building and its gardens. Could you help us with our fundraising efforts on this exciting project?

The design

We have worked on a design with an expert landscaping company called Urban Wilderness. The project creates an attractive, accessible and manageable front garden, and to the rear, the existing space will be split into two distinct rooms with a raised deck that provides direct access from the church hall. A second ramp will create safe access across the garden. This project creates a fully wheelchair accessible ground floor and gardens space.
