Story

Strathpeffer is a vibrant village in the Scottish Highlands. However, years of neglect resulted in nearly all of our old play park being removed by the Highland Council. We were left with one old toddler swing set for a community of over 1,200 residents.

We have entered a new chapter! Phase 1 of the play park has just been installed and will be opened this spring! We need to maintain our momentum and are excited to announce that, as of February 2024, we've already secured £65,000 towards Phase 2. This phase will focus on equipment for our youngest children and add more inclusive play opportunities.

Phase 2 will cost about £105,000 so the more we raise the more amazing equipment we can include in this second important phase.

This is the result of over ten years hard work by many people in our community. We hope the play park will make Strathpeffer and surrounding areas a better place to live and make our village more attractive to visitors, who support our local businesses.

Thank you for helping get this second phase over the line. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated.

This project is delivered by the Strathpeffer Residents' Association (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation SC046287) on behalf of our community.
