Woking Street Angels Swim for the Rotary Club

A team of Woking Street Angels will once again don their goggles and brave the pool to raise money for the Rotary Club. We're hoping to raise £500 for this brilliant cause.

Our Street Angels are out every Friday and Saturday night in their bright blue and yellow jackets giving care, support and a listening ear to anyone who has found themselves in need or vulnerable. We have become a crucial part of Woking's night life between the hours of 10pm and 4am.

Story

Woking Street Angels are once again swimming the Rotary Club Swimathon to help raise funds for Woking District Rotary. Earlier this year Woking Rotary presented Woking Street Angels with a £2000 donation as a part of the money raised from the 2023 Swimathon which we are ever thankful for. Each year the Woking Rotary chooses a select number of charities across Woking to support with their fundraising from the Swimathon - this year they will support, amongst others Woking charities, Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, Samber-RDA, Citizens Advice Woking, GASP Motor Project and Woking Youth Theatre.
