Story
Strictly Come Dancing is one of the BBCs longest running and most popular TV programmes. Viewers are mesmerised by the sequins and enthralled by the progress of the celebrities that take part. Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation’s Strictly Ballroom is no different!
Having held 5 successful events in Liverpool which have raised over £150,000 for the charity, we are now doing a `quick step’ across to Manchester for our very first event there!
Working with talented dancers and choreographers from Topaz Dance School, our learner dancers receive 10 hours of dance tuition and will then practice to perfect their routine. On Saturday 17th February, our Strictly stars will take to the dance floor in front of a live audience at The Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester to be in with a chance of being crowned King or Queen of the Ballroom and lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy!
A huge thank you for your generosity in supporting our Strictly stars, which allows us to support everyone affected by lung cancer.
