TAKE SAVING LIVES IN THE NORTH WEST IN YOUR STRIDE…
WE NEED YOU!
• Love running or walking?
• Have never take on a challenge before?
• Fancy getting fitter and need a bit of extra motivation?
What better way to get motivated than by taking on a running or walking challenge for the Dianne Oxberry Trust?
Simply pledge to raise £60, and you could help us spread the word about ovarian cancer symptoms to 1,000 people in the North West.
Your help has never been more important…
• Prevalence of ovarian cancer is 10 per cent higher in the North West than the rest of the country.
• In fact, in some areas of our region it’s up to 22 per cent higher. We think that’s unfair and are on a mission to change it!
• The risk of developing ovarian cancer is two in every 100 women.
• 11 people die every day from ovarian cancer in the UK.
• That’s one woman every two hours.
• One in seven women die within two months of an ovarian cancer diagnosis.
• But, if diagnosed in its earliest stages, 93 per cent of people will survive for at least five years
Awareness and prompt action literally saves lives.
Run or walk your way to raise £60.
By doing so your amazing efforts could reach 1,000 people in our region about the symptoms to look out for.
