This wonderful event, organised by Wangford Veterinary Clinic, brings people together and celebrates the unique relationship that we share with our dogs and the stunningly beautiful area in which we live.

Benacre National Nature Reserve offers unique walks through private tracks and hidden trails - areas that are usually closed to the public!

This is an area of breathtaking beauty with a wide range of habitats ranging from farmland to heathland, woodland to beach and is righty recognised as one of the finest wildlife sites in Britain and is a haven for its birds and waders, particularly around the expanse of Benacre Broard.

Strutt Your Mutt offers two walks / distances to suit as many visitors as possible – a  2-mile circular route or continue on the longer route which is approximately 7 miles.

The walk route is managed by Natural England who have information boards and signage explaining its coastal lagoon, reedbeds and rare bird species at the many points of interest. They also provide a scenic view point to stop off around the half way point where you can enjoy refreshments, rest for a while in your beautiful surroundings and talk to the Natural England team.

Note: To protect the sensitive local habitats and nesting wildlife, all dogs must be kept on leads.
