Story

The University Student Hardship Fund is available to provide discretionary financial help for students who are experiencing financial difficulties whilst studying. The fund will provide low level support to students if something unexpected happens and they get into financial difficulty. This could be a bereavement of a close family member, the student falls ill and has to have an operation, they have an insecure source of income at home, or there is a family illness and they have to take that family member to appointments. This extra short term financial help from the Student Hardship Fund can be vital to ensure students go on to finish their studies feeling support and unburdened by additional debt.

About the charity

The Foundation plays a vital role in transforming the campus, enriching the student experience, developing pioneering research & addressing many global issues. 100% of your gift will be used to create life-changing experiences for students & research to tackle the great health challenges of today.
