Story
The Bealonians charity, in partnership with the CALM charity (Campaign Against living Miserably), are raising awareness of male suicide.
In 2019 there were 4303 men who took their own lives, that accounts for 75% of all lives taken.
We have decided to collectively run 4303km, 1km for each life taken.
We are asking all our members, family, friends and supporters to help us raise awareness by sharing, taking part, donating or even all 3.
Your support will mean so much to a club with over 400 male members who play, coach or volunteer.
100% of all proceeds will be donated to the 2 charities.
To take part in the challenge all you need to do is download the Strava app, join Bealonians Football Club and start walking, running, cycling or even dribbling.
To help raise awareness we ask that you not only like, but also spread the word by sharing our posts.
And of course, if you are in a position to donate, we are grateful for that as well.
A Just giving page has been set up, where all proceeds will be sent directly to the Charities.

Update 02.03.21
Hi everyone
We just wanted to update everyone on our progress in reaching 4,303km.
So far we have had 69 participants walking, running, cycling and dribbling their way to a combined 2507.6km, which I think you will agree is an amazing effort in such a short time.
Please feel free to check our progress on the strava link below:
