Work has begun on Sumillion House, our dedicated accommodation for volunteers with To Live In H.O.P.E, generously supported by Sumillion Ltd. Once completed it will provide educational space and accommodation for up to 70 volunteers in Ghana.

Our Volunteering program allows many to help with out projects in Ghana and also raises funds for our work through the fundraising of the volunteers.

Covid hit us particularly hard with regular attending schools and colleges unable to attend. We are now in the process of re building our volunteer program and are currently in the process of building a purpose made facility for our volunteers. This will allow us to save on costs so money can be used for projects and also allow long term financial stability through the cost saving on the charity.

We are currently building a 4 flat 12 room facility, funding from this has come from our generous supporter Sumillion and from volunteer packages but when covid happened the money was no longer available and building stopped we are now raising funds to finish the project. Costings also raised from original budget due to material costing rising.

If you're considering volunteering in Ghana, we'd highly recommend the experience. Ghana is a beautiful and safe country for tourists and volunteers and has an incredible mosaic of languages and cultures.

Volunteering with To Live In H.O.P.E gives you the opportunity to work on several development projects and experience everything Ghana has to offer. Getting directly involved is the best way to gain an understanding of what the project is, why it exists and the wonderful outcomes it will deliver.

All our projects are developed with local stakeholders, ensuring the work we do has a positive impact. Volunteering is hands-on, you get to meet the beneficiaries of our projects and work with knowledgeable staff who can give you great insight into the development sector. To Live In H.O.P.E have been running and developing volunteering trips since 2010, and the experience is very rewarding while the work is done with some amazing people.
