Fighting to be Heard – Summer Grant Appeal 2026
Our Third Year of Supporting Families Living with Secondary Breast Cancer. This year marks the third year of the Fighting to be Heard Summer Grant, a small but meaningful way we support people living with secondary breast cancer.
For many, a secondary diagnosis brings uncertainty, financial pressure, and the difficult reality that time becomes incredibly precious. The Summer Grant was created to help relieve some of that pressure and allow families to focus on what truly matters — spending time together and creating memories.
Through this appeal, we provide small grants that can help someone:
Enjoy a special day out with family or friends
Take a short break away
Treat their children during the summer holidays
Pay an essential household bill
Simply reduce the stress that can come with living with an incurable illness. Sometimes the most powerful support is the kind that brings a moment of normality, laughter, or peace during a very challenging time.
Over the past two years, the Fighting to be Heard community has helped us provide these grants to people who truly needed them. In many cases, the support has allowed families to make memories they will treasure forever.
Now, as we launch our third Summer Grant Appeal, we are asking for your help once again.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards supporting people living with secondary breast cancer this summer.
Together, we can ease the burden, bring moments of joy, and remind those facing this diagnosis that they are not alone and their voices continue to be heard.
Please donate if you can and help us make Summer 2026 special for those who need it most.
Every donation no matter how large or small is appreciated.
Thank you,
Fighting to be Heard
