After spending two years fighting cancer, Sam Fletcher- Goodwin won her battle and the whole family got to go to a place called 'Give Kids the World' in America. This holiday changed the family forever, for the better. It was a magical experience where the family bonded. Sadly for the tens of thousands of families going through similar stories, there isn't a lifeline of a break to America.

Kids' Village is building the UK's first respite holiday village just for children with critical illnesses and their families. A place where they can be themselves again and spend time with those closest to them for a well deserved respite break away from hospitals and the trauma of having a critical illness.
