Sunday for Sammy is proud to support young North East performers, creatives and storytellers. By taking on the Great North Run, our runners are raising funds to help emerging talent access opportunities, training, equipment, recording time and promotional support - the things that help them shine.

Every donation, large or small, helps someone take a meaningful step forward in their creative journey. You can support the team, back an individual runner, or simply donate to the campaign total. Your generosity directly supports young talent across the region.

Running the Great North Run?

What difference can you make?

Every donation can make a HUGE difference to a young person starting out on the creative journey. Our grants and support go towards helping them with things like the list below, and so much more!

£5 - Travel help, support a young performer get to an audition, rehearsal, or coaching session.

£10 - Rehearsal kit, this could cover sheet music, scripts, printing, or basic rehearsal materials.

£20 - Studio hour, fund one hour of studio time for a young performer or creative.

£30 - Coaching support, professional coaching, mentoring, or specialist training.

£50 - Performance prep, such as costume materials, props, or essential performance resources.

£75 - Creative development, such as workshops, masterclasses, or creative development sessions.

£100 - Equipment boost, contributes to essential equipment -microphones, instruments, tech, or creative tools.

£150 - Opportunity grant, contributes to a small grant that opens doors for emerging talent.

£200 -Promotional support, helps fund headshots, showreels, portfolio updates, or promotional materials.

£250 - Talent boost Helps fund a larger opportunity such as a course, residency, or project.
