Little Bulgaria UK CIO believes that the Bulgarian community, wherever it lives in the world, can be a driving force for positive change. United by our love for Bulgaria and our desire to help, we are focusing our efforts on a cause that can change the lives of hundreds of children and their families.
The Sunny Kids Foundation 2024 was established with the mission to support children and young people with Down syndrome and other special needs by providing access to quality education, specialised therapies, and opportunities for full social inclusion.
Today, Little Bulgaria is proud to support Sunny Kids in their shared vision of creating the largest children’s centre in Bulgaria and the Balkans – а place where children can develop, learn, play, receive the necessary therapies, and build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
In this centre, every child will receive individual support according to their needs, while parents will find understanding, professional assistance, and a community they can rely on.
To turn this dream into reality, the Sunny Kids Foundation 2024 works in three main areas:
- Therapeutic support – providing access to specialised therapies through partnerships with dedicated therapeutic and healthcare centres.
- Educational support – offering scholarships and one-off financial assistance for the education of children and young people.
- Social inclusion – developing programmes in cooperation with social and healthcare institutions that promote inclusion and active participation of children in society.
But no great dream comes true on its own!
To build this centre, we need people who believe that every child deserves a chance.
