THE SUNRAY PROJECT PROJECT -Bringing a ray of sunshine into people’s lives in their darkest moments.

A great many of our students have experienced and/or witnessed the darkest of moments in their lives, families and communities. They have witnessed the way poverty and a general lack of funds can make it hard for people to cope and rebuild.

Story

THE SUNRAY PROJECT…Bringing a ray of sunshine into people’s lives in their darkest moments.

A great many of our students have experienced and/ or witnessed the darkest of moments in their lives, families and communities. They have witnessed particularly the way poverty and a general lack of funds can make it hard for people to cope and rebuild.

The students want to create a hardship fund which they can administer, (through the Fair Earth Foundation), to bring a little light into the lives of people within their communities who are in very dark places, small acts of kindness which can make a huge difference to people when at their most vulnerable.

Examples of the kind of situation where they see the hardship fund being used:

1. Terminally ill individuals, particularly children. Perhaps a visit to meet the dolphins?

2. Single mums struggling to provide for their children

3. Victims of domestic violence

4. Those suffering from mental health issues.

The SunRay Project will be run by young people to provide support within their communities. It will be administered through the Fair Earth Foundation, a CIO registered with the Charities Commission.

Give what you can to help young people make a difference within their communities.
