Fanconi Hope is a charity set up to sponsor research and support those affected by the rare genetic disorder Fanconi Anaemia that affects children and adults, leading to bone marrow failure and bone marrow transplantation, with very high risk of leukaemia and head and neck cancers.

Story

Join in with Super Rare our annual fundraising campaign and celebrate Rare Disease Day.

Fanconi Anaemia (FA) is a rare genetic disorder that affects over 150 families in the UK. For these families, FA is a challenging journey - one made even harder because siblings often share the same diagnosis. FA isn’t just an individual struggle - it profoundly impacts entire families.

At Fanconi Hope, we are dedicated to empowering families, advancing research, and inspiring hope. We believe in a future where everyone affected by Fanconi Anaemia in the UK and Ireland has access to the knowledge, care, and support they need to thrive.

Raise £200 we’ll send you a Super Rare t-shirt.

Super Rare is about being there for people, and we are proud to take part in this year’s campaign for the third time. Those who live with a rare condition use their experiences to make the journey easier for those newly diagnosed.

Every penny raised by our incredible FA community this year will go directly towards vital emotional support, funding essential research, and building a stronger, more connected community.

Support Fanconi Hope this February and March and help bring people affected by Fanconi Anaemia together.
