The people in Gaza have been experiencing a life of prolonged siege and recurrent wars. Unfortunately, our brothers and sisters in Gaza yet again face conflict, destruction and loss. Deadly attack and raids these last few days have intensified the already existent needs of the besieged Gazans.

How will aid get to people in GAZA when nothing is allowed to go into GAZA ?
During times of conflict in GAZA, humanitarian organisations work closely with local suppliers to ensure that food and fuel needs are met. However, due to the unpredictable nature of these conflicts, a contingency plan is always in place, lasting up to 90 days. This plan is regularly replenished to ensure that aid can continue to be provided.
What happens after 90 days ?
Unfortunately, if the conflict persists, the situation will become dire. This is why international pressure is mounting to open up humanitarian corridors for aid, which will be essential in providing continued support.
What do people need most ?
Right now, there are three critical needs for those affected by the conflict: cash aid to allow them to purchase necessary items, cooked food for those who are unable to stay in their homes, and fuel to keep the generators running. Without fuel, hospitals and medical clinics would be without power, which would be devastating.
