For over 70 years, you, our community, have been at the heart of St Francis Animal Welfare. Together, we've rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed countless animals right here in Hampshire. But today, we need your support to continue.

Recently, we rescued a group of feral kittens found abandoned, covered in muck and infested with fleas. They were in desperate need of care and attention. Thanks to generous supporters like you, these kittens were given the veterinary care, love and attention they desperately needed.

After weeks of rehabilitation at our shelter, they have now found their forever homes. This is just one example of the incredible difference your support can make.

The reality is, each month we are operating at a deficit, struggling to cover our essential costs. Our daily running costs now exceed £600, adding up to over £219,000 annually. This includes veterinary care, food, utilities, staffing and shelter maintenance. Unfortunately, rising costs, along with the impact from recent government changes in National Insurance, have increase our financial burden, making it even harder to continue our vital work.

In addition to fundraising efforts, we are also taking significant steps to secure the future of St Francis Animal Welfare, including selling an adjacent property owned by the charity. However, this alone will not be enough to sustain the shelter long-term, which is why your support is more vital than ever.
