Story
FAB’s journey began in 2004, when Elaine struggled to find the support she needed after her daughter was born. That experience led to the creation of a small, grassroots group that has now supported over 250,000 families across the country — including yours.
You may remember the weekly feeding groups, a friendly chat with a peer supporter, or the calm guidance during an antenatal session. Whatever your experience, we hope FAB made your parenting journey a little easier, a little less lonely, and a lot more supported.
Now, we need your help.
We want every parent to feel the support you once felt — but we can only do that with your backing. A small donation from you could help another mum attend a support group, receive one-to-one help, or build confidence in her breastfeeding journey.
Here’s why your support matters:
• Breastfeeding lowers the risk of breast and ovarian cancers in mums.
• It helps prevent SIDS and even childhood leukemia in babies.
• It’s also good for the planet — reducing emissions and energy use.
• And yet, over 80% of mums stop breastfeeding earlier than they wanted to — simply because the right support wasn’t there.
If FAB helped you, please consider paying it forward so we can continue to be there for the next mum who needs a friendly face, a listening ear, or a bit of encouragement.
No gift is too small — and every single one makes a real difference.
