The Walronds is looked after by a team of dedicated volunteers with no paid employees and no financial support from local authorities etc. The only income comes from fund raising and rent from a tenanted flat.

As the house is Grade 1 listed it's an expensive property to maintain, insurance alone is about £10k a year. The garden is cared for by a team of volunteers, it requires constant maintenance and funding to pay for maintenance of trees etc. and ensure it's safe and attractive for the many visitors.
