The St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) is a Christian voluntary organisation which provides practical help to anyone affected by poverty and disadvantage. Our 10,000 volunteers offer friendship to people who are lonely or isolated and we deliver specialist services in local communities.

Story

Across England and Wales St Vincent's charity shops are more than just a great place to buy good quality affordable goods, they are also where you will find a welcoming smile and a listening ear. For our staff and volunteers, they are more than just a place of work, but also a way of connecting with the local community and being part of the SVP family. In addition, our shops raise funds for the wider St Vincent de Paul Society who directly assist people in need across the country. As a result of the previous and current lock-down periods we have been challenged by the loss of sales as a result of having to close our doors.

We are sharing this Just Giving page for anyone who would like to lend their support to keep our shops going through the next four weeks. If you are a charity shopper, please consider spending what you might do on a t-shirt on a donation? We're hoping to reopen our doors in Wales next week and in England in December, restrictions permitting, but we need your help to ensure that we can do so.

Thank you to every supporter, shopper, visitor and member of staff at our shops who in regular times would be keeping our shops open and running, until we can see you again! Stay safe.
