Our pupils in Ukraine are remarkably resilient. It’s admirable, humbling and inspiring. But resilience has its limits.

Young Ukrainians have had to develop a level of resilience no child should ever need.

Many are woken by air raid sirens overnight, then go to school in the morning. They show up for online lessons during blackouts, from a dark room with a blanket. They retain optimism, humour and curiosity despite their circumstances.

But resilience is not a superpower.

RESILIENCE CAN'T:

We're fundraising for Winter Essentials Kits - practical products and equipment to help our pupils get through the winter

Winter Essentials Kits contain a range of everyday items which can make a big difference to our pupils this winter. Pupils and their families tell us what they need, we source in Ukraine and deliver throughout winter.

100% of your donation is used to source and deliver products.

The products our pupils and families can request this winter:

LIGHT: room light, desk lamp, head torch and fairy lights (all rechargeable)

POWER: a 65W 30,000 mAh power bank, capable of fully charging a laptop plus other devices simultaneously

WARMTH: thermal products - pyjamas, socks and flask. An oversize hoodie and blankets

CONNECTION: 4G SIM router with 3 months unlimited data, SIM card with 3 months unlimited mobile data, Mini-UPS

Last year we provided light and power products to 144 pupils in Ukraine - this winter, help us do even more

Our remarkable pupils have utterly ordinary needs:
