We are fundraising for 50 pupils from Ukraine to have the wonderful experience of 2-week stay in a boarding summer school in the UK in 2025.
The total value of these placements generously offered to Svitlo Education free of charge by the most reputable schools like Harrow SHort Courses, MPW, International House, and others exceeds £102,000. This experience will give Ukrainian children a chance to:
- Learn English in a native-speaking environment
- Escape the war and experience peace
- Sleep safely at night and recharge for two weeks in a British boarding school.
- Build meaningful international connections
- Get motivation and encouragement to excell as a pupil upon return
Svitlo Education is a registered charity in England and Wales. Our mission is to nurture the future social leaders of Ukraine by providing them with a safe, supportive, and enriching educational environment today.
We illuminate the future of Ukrainian children impacted by war by offering:
- Daily English-taught lessons in various disciplines, encouraging critical thinking
- A safe and stable online community that supports students’ mental health and wellbeing
- A sustainable model built through collaboration with business and education partners
- Access to educational opportunities online in Britain and America
Your contribution will go toward visa fees and plane tickets for those students who cannot afford to pay themselves and have been nominated to attend these incredible summer schools for their hard work during the academic year.
You can read more and watch a video about last year's trips and our partner schools our website.
In the past two years, 44 Svitlo students have attended summer schools in the UK and the USA. Each one returned home with unforgettable memories, renewed hope, and new skills – ready to work harder, dream bigger, and uplift others.
