Swale Community Care Project is a start-up Charity (registration No. 1203458) supporting the local community of Swale in Kent working with the local authority and local organisations to support the areas & services currently missed by existing organisations or processes. This includes the most vulnerable and isolated in the community.

Since July 2023 we have been supporting those that are unable to access the fixed location foodbanks within Swale. This could be because of loss of transportation or mobility, short or long term illness, post operation recovery, homeless or in temporary accommodation, referrals or Domestic Abuse as a sample of those issues being faced by those that we help.

In 2024 We have managed to support over 444 households, feeding over 1,100 individuals (incl. the elderly and children) - delivering over 9.2 tonnes of food across 21 of the 24 Swale Districts.

We believe that if people are donating their hard earnt money to support those in the community that you should have the chance to chose what projects it is spent on and get updates on progress. So we have setup separate Just Giving Campaigns for each of our projects to help you have that choice.

In order to continue our home delivery food parcel services to those in Swale we have set up this just giving page to raise funding to ensure our next 12 months of services can continue to help those most in need.

All donations can contribute giftaid as we are registered with HMRC and Just Giving will ensure this bonus contribution also gets to us.
