We require a replacement outboard engine for our large inflatable rescue boat, ahead of the busy summer months. This is an essential piece of equipment for emergency water rescues, used to safely reach injured or stranded wild animals that cannot be captured from the bank.

An outboard engine of suitable power to outmanoeuvre and reach injured swans and other waterbirds is essential in continuing our work in saving wild lives. For our Easter Appeal this year, we would like to raise at least £500 towards the cost of a replacement reconditioned outboard, though most second hand engines average around £1,000. Any potential funds raised over this latter amount will be used to maintain and better equip our rescue boat.
