Story

At Swanton we are dedicated to putting the people we support in control of their lives, no matter what challenges they face. From learning disabilities, mental health and autism to Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and neuro rehab, we support individuals who often present the most complex conditions.

We have chosen to support Happy Days Children's Charity because they also know that Every Moment Matters. Since 1992, Happy Days has been organising and funding special days such as trips to the seaside, theatres, zoos, museums, outdoor activity centres, sporting events and other educational and cultural activities for children in the UK living with mental, physical and emotional difficulties.

Despite the Coronavirus Pandemic, they were still able to support thousands of children with additional needs last year, giving them a chance to get out safely, develop new skills and build confidence in the face of adversity, in their bubbles and whilst distancing.

About the charity

What a Difference a Day Makes... Last year, Happy Days helped almost 25,000 children with life-limiting illnesses, mental and physical disabilities and those who had suffered abuse and neglect. We also gave magical days out to bereaved children, as well as young carers supporting their families.
