Story

This September, Orbis Ireland is setting a new challenge - Swim for Sight. You choose where you swim and how far you swim each day. Whether it's 20 swims in September, or for 20 minutes over the month or simply 20 strokes - whatever your level, set your target.

By taking on the Swim for Sight Challenge you will help prevent avoidable blindness.

Everyone who raises over 50 euro, will receive a Swim for Sight Swimming Cap.

Orbis is a charity working to eliminate avoidable blindness. Shockingly, 75% of all visual impairment can be prevented or treated. That means that nearly 190 million adults and children would be able to see today if they had received surgery, treatment or glasses.
