Every month, thousands of prison leavers are released with just £89, a plastic bag of belongings and nowhere to go. Too many face poverty, homelessness and inadequate support, making it much harder to build positive and stable futures.

Switchback supports young prison leavers (Switchback Trainees) to find a way out of the justice system and create real, lasting change through our 1-1 support. This year our Experts By Experience board (current and former Trainees who work to create social change in the justice system) came up with the idea of taking on a sponsored run to help more men leaving prison access the same support they did.

That's why we're bringing together Trainees, staff, trustees and partners to run the Fulham 10K side by side, raising vital funds for Switchback while challenging the stigma faced by people leaving prison.

Every donation will help us meet the growing demand for support and ensure that more people leaving prison can build stable, rewarding lives they can be proud of.
