Story
The Tadley Food Pantry began in response to a crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we saw neighbours struggling, isolated, anxious, and unable to access basic essentials. With the help of local volunteers, we started delivering food parcels and prescriptions directly to those in need, making sure no one in our community was forgotten.
What started as an emergency response soon revealed a deeper, ongoing need. Even as restrictions lifted, many families continued to face financial hardship, job loss, and food insecurity. So we adapted. From doorstep deliveries, we grew into the Tadley Food Pantry, a welcoming, dignified space where people can choose the food they need, when they need it.
Today, the Pantry is more than shelves and tins. It’s a place of support, compassion, and hope. We provide essential food to individuals and families who are struggling, and connect them with other local services to help rebuild lives. Along with a coffee and a chat.
But we can’t do it alone. Demand is rising, and we rely on donations to keep going. Your support helps us continue this vital work—ensuring no one in Tadley has to face hunger alone. Please help us carry on the journey from crisis to care. Every donation makes a difference.
