Story
The Rotary Clubs of Edgware & Stanmore, Harrow, Hendon, Golders Green, Northwick Park and Pinner (the six NW London Rotary Clubs) are embracing this years Rotary International theme of "Unite for Good" to raise funds for local and international charities to make a difference in the world.
They will be raising funds to support the following charities:
Dementia Club UK - provides people in the L B Barnet with another lifeline, giving care and support, professional advice, fun activities daily and above all, hope.
Harrow Food Bank - provides emergency food and practical support to people in their hardest moments, working with partners and local communities to ensure everyone gets the right help long before they need a food bank.
St Luke's Hospice - provides specialist end of life and palliative care for people in Brent and Harrow to have the best possible quality of life despite living with serious illnesses, which are no longer curable.
End Polio Now - Unless we eradicate polio, within 10 years, as many as 200,000 new cases could occur around the world each year. In the past few years, only two countries have reported cases of polio caused by the wild virus, but no child anywhere is safe until we’ve vaccinated every child.
ShelterBox - works with disaster-affected communities to provide the emergency shelter, essential items and training needed to support families in the long process of rebuilding their lives.
This campaign has been organised jointly by the six NW London Rotary Clubs and is being hosted on this Just Giving page by the Rotary Club of Golders Green Trust Fund (Registered Charity No: 1017660)
All funds raised in this campaign will be divided equally between the 5 charities we are supporting, without deduction by Rotary.
Thank you for your support.
