To celebrate and encourage a lifelong love of reading at home and school, and to help to maintain everyones enthusiasm for reading over the holidays, we are running a sponsored read over the summer holidays. We havent been able to fundraise as we normally would during lockdown, and this is a great way to support the school by funding lots of fantastic new Usborne books. All the money raised will go towards brand new books for school. In addition to the sponsorship money, Usborne will also donate up to 60% of the total raised in EXTRA FREE BOOKS.

The project is being organised in conjunction with our local Usborne Organiser, Rosie Hanley.

As a thank you for taking part, the child who reads the most in each class/year group will receive a book voucher to spend with Rosies Readers at a virtual book fair at the end of September.

We hope that as many of you as possible will feel able to support this event, as any donation, no matter how small, will help to contribute to fantastic new resources.
