Around the globe the poorest communities are fighting to survive injustices through the help of Christian Aid partners. One example can be seen in Zimbabwe, in southern Africa.

A key aspect of the charity’s work there is strengthening local communities to be able to survive unpredictable weather by training them in farming techniques which are better suited to a climate which is changing.

Diversification is also an essential aspect of strengthening communities and so women are learning new skills which will help make them more resilient in the face of weather shocks.
